Privacy Notice

This notice explains how dissimulate.ai ("this site", "I") handles personal information. The site is run by Brendan Dwyer, based in Australia. I try to collect as little as possible.
Purchases
Ebooks are sold through Payhip. When you buy, you deal with Payhip directly: they collect your payment and contact details and are responsible for them. Their Terms of Service (including the Refund Policy) and Privacy Policy are linked on each product page. I receive only the order information Payhip provides to sellers, such as your email address and what you bought, so can support your purchase.
Donations
Donations are processed by Stripe. Your card details go to Stripe and never reach this site. Stripe's privacy policy applies to that payment. Donations are non-refundable.
Contact form
If you use the contact form, I collect the name, email address and message you submit. I use them only to read and reply to your message. The form sends them to me by email; they are not added to any mailing list and are not sold or shared. I keep messages for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry [and then delete them within 12 months]. You can ask me to delete your message at any time by contacting me through the form.
Server logs and cookies
The website host (DreamIT, Australia) keeps standard server logs, which typically include IP addresses, pages requested and browser details. These are used for security and running the service. This site does not set its own tracking cookies. The embedded Payhip and Stripe components may set cookies or load scripts of their own, which are governed by their privacy policies.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information I hold about you by contacting me through the contact form. For information held by Payhip or Stripe, please contact them directly.
Changes
I may update this notice from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
